Review summary

The venue, going from Amsterdam to Basel down the Rhine River was beautiful. The cruise and it's excursions we're well run. The meals were good and the entertainment was OK. We enjoyed the people we met - it seemed to be a younger group of folks from similar backgrounds as ourselves. I would recommend Amawaterways to others if they want to go on a river cruise versus some of the other options that are available.

We could have used a bigger cabin even though we were upgraded to a 235 Square feet room. The standard rooms are extremely small. I would not take a cruise in one of these cabins it's too claustrophobic.

Ship tip

If you're active, and waterways has the facilities. It has a small fitness center, running track and bikes are available to exercise on during some of the excursions. So if you're an active person this will be the river cruise find you want to go on.
