The Spirit is an older, smaller ship with a lively, engaged crew and a decent itinerary. Even with weather issues, we had a great time. The entertainment crew are lively and genuinely interested in helping you have a good time.
Cruise tips
Bamboo Beach is a good time.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas
Take an early tender - so much to enjoy!
Arrive a day early and have dinner at Cerviche's - a great tapas bar
On Grand Cayman - do not go to Hell. It is a tourist trap and there is no real reason to visit it
Norwegian Spirit
For a quiet spot to sit and read, try Deck 7 Starboard side. You are in the shade and Henry's Pub and the coffee bar are steps away when you need your drink replenished. Oh, and buy the beverage package. There are very few drinks that are not covered in the package, including wine at dinner.
