It was a nice port. The tour was great.

Very little to do unless you’re going on a excursion

Tendering took a while. The wait for a tender back to the port as at least 1.5 hours (the longest we heard). Port itself was fine. Note they use the lifeboats for tendering.

The port was beautiful however it is a tender stop. 5700 people trying to get off and only 4 tender boats running. Waited over 2 hours to get off so by the time we got there we had 3 hours to look around because we were leaving at 3. Same situation with tender boats getting back onto the boat. Needless to say, we were two hours late leaving because it took all that time to get everyone back on board. We were supposed to leave at three and didn’t leave till five. Do better, MSC

The tender process is frustrating but this is a delightful walkable town with a variety of shopping and food options.

Lovely town it was our second visit there.

Excursions available but were limited. We explored shopping and restaurant around the tender area.

An extra day would have been nice there. Are tendered. Can walk to shopping, pubs, restaurants from where tender drops you off.

Enjoyed Newport and the short excursion. Would have liked to spend more time in the port but heavy rain shortened our touring of the town.

MSC used just two tenders taking 1-2 hours to get off and back on.
