We stayed at AirBNB near downtown it was about a 15 min drive to the port.

Unfortunately for the most part, no. But wherever you stay, you want to make sure you enter the terminal parking lot on the right side of FL 105. The terminal parking lot entrance is scarcely marked. You can easily enter from the left, but you have to pay attention. You can easily miss the entrance.

There's a Holiday Inn Express very close by, but that's it. If you're willing to stay 5-10 miles away then you'll have many more choices available.

There is a Holiday Inn express. This port is way out in the middle of nowhere. Only food option is a Wendy’s right beside the HI Express.
