Early arrival doesn't mean you will be getting off right away. Ship has to clear customs & immergration before disembarkation. Disembarkation takes time. Each person has to be cleared by customs & immigration.

No book one for about 11:00, take your luggage off the ship as a walk off as those passengers are the first to disembark.

I have to say from the port to the airport it is quick however . however for the ship to unload it was more like 8:00.

We have a 10:15 flight. 9 is too early. We will have carry on bags, and TSA pre check, so we can zoom the lineups.

we always fly in the day before especially if you're flying across the country. That way you're refreshed and not so tired from the flight and can enjoy your vacation a day before. That's what my wife and I do whenever we're flying from the West Coast to the East Coast.

only if you can be off the ship by 7:00am. Get to the airport by 7:30. Bags checked and thru security by 8:15, at the gate boarding by 08:30. Maybe. But it's gonna be close.

The airport is 5-7 minutes from the port. I would pre-book an Uber/Lyft pick up and carry off your luggage at 7:00. You will have plenty of time to get to the airport and check in your luggage. The ship is always back early to get ready for the next sailing.

If I was traveling alone and only had luggage I would carry off mused, I would probably do it. I have Pre-Check which shortens the required time at the airport. Also, I keep third party travel insurance that would cover a travel delay if the ship was late. But if HAL changed the planned arrival time before sailing, you might have problems with a travel insurance claim if you needed to file one. Keep in mind, the airport is only a 10 minute drive. If you decide to do it, be sure to save documentation proving the ships planned arrival time of 0615 AM.

We’ve booked out Flight at 12:30. I think we’re safe.

I wouldn't risk it. There are too many things that could go wrong with disembarkation: weather issues (fog, storm, etc) delaying the ship from docking, customs issues delaying the passenger debarkation process, traffic or other delays in getting you to the airport, check in and/or security delays at the airport.

When the ship tied up is hours before the ship will actually be cleared for disembarkation. 11:30 is the earliest I’d book and I’d be sweating every minute. I believe the CL recommends after noon.

No way. We are getting ready to take cruise number 14 and when air travel is involved, I never fly before noon at the end and always fly the day before departure; staying in a hotel. Even when we drive, we arrive the night before.
