We don’t like the wait. We grab a cab.

There are taxis everywhere. They know when ships are disembarking. The Broward County Sheriffs are directing traffic and getting people in the cabs.

With cruise transfer you get off the ship far earlier than necessary and then wait until the bus is full. with a taxi you go right to your terminal instead of stopping at each terminal. On our current cruise they want us off the ship 4 hours before the flight. it is a ten minute ride to the airport from the cruise terminal.

We always get the cruise line transfer but an Uber, taxi, shuttle. They shouldn’t be too expensive as the cruise port is close to the airport. FYI once you clear the airport buildings, you can see the cruise ships at the port.

It might be the easiest port to get to the airport from.

Taxi stand is outside baggage claim. Always an organizer and it’s $20. We’ve always found it simple enough and cheap even with lots of luggage and 4 people.

get transfer from ship to airport from travel agent or cruise line directly. usually about $20 pp.

We use Lyft in Ft Lauderdale. Less than $20 if I remember correctly.

You can pre book an Uber who Will take you to your required terminal. Taxis are sometimes difficult to secure. The Uber can be arranged once you have disembarked. Just make sure you have the Uber app loaded on your device

We used Lyft and Uber to get from terminal to airport. Once yr off the ship use the app and yr ride will meet you within 7 mins. The airport is a 10 to 15 mins away s depending on traffic. Very easy process.

Fort Lauderdale airport is super close to the port, Uber or shuttle from airport, 20 minutes more or less with traffic

Not sure what cruise line you're sailing with but Princess offered a $25 transfer where you don't have to even touch your luggage. Just complete the form and your luggage is transfered to the airport directly to you're flight. And to top it off they even cover the charges if you're luggage is over weight. All you have to do is sit back on the shuttle bus and relax. Not sure about you but sitting on a shuttle for a little while iis worth it Not to have to drag around your luggage and wait in line at the airport to check you bag. Enjoy your cruise.
