We did it once, mid January. It was a very cold winter to begin with, 2014, the year they called The Polar Vortex, lol. About the second sea day it got better. First stop was Port Canaveral, we went in to Epcot, it was frigging freezing there, we wore sweatshirts, needed gloves on our hands. I wouldn’t do it again in January. Coming back in to Baltimore the last morning, I threw a glass of water onto the balcony, it turned to ice pretty fast. Maybe consider Later February if you can.

We've sailed out of Baltimore several times in mid to late January, and about the second day, it starts to get warm as you travel down the southeast coast.

I sailed from Baltimore in December 2014. It was pretty cold and didn’t warm up until about Georgia. Our trip was also pretty windy and we weren’t able to do much if any activities outside.

Those that are sensitive to motion sickness should get prescription patches or something equivalent. A lot of people don't do well until crossing past the Carolinas.Weather follows similar patterns, growing warmer as you get further south and noticeably warmer after the Carolinas

February can be a mixed bag of weather in the Mid-Atlantic states including Maryland. 1 day it can be freezing with snow then the next be a balmy 55°f. Easy to remove layers will work better than straight out winter clothing. Parts of the ship get very warm and the mid-ship pool has a glass roof. By end of day 2 you're near GA/FL border, as long as no polar vortex that's general shorts weather.
