A very unique city with lots of Spanish influence ~ very nice walk around the city and public transport to and from port is very convenient. But there's quite a few homeless people hanging around making it a bit shady and unsafe feeling. Otherwise, it is a very pleasant city for a short visit.

We did not do an excursion in Santa Barbara. We are familiar with Santa Barbara and walked around ourselves. Extra time in Santa Barbara would have been preferred instead of San Francisco.
