We weren't allowed to disembark on this port because it was a tender port and was windy. Having said that Princess did an excellent job of quickly removing the tour charge and also refunded the port fee automatically, no effort required on our part at all!

Princess substituted this port for Monterey. The S.B. people in the shops, etc were happy to have us and made everyone feel welcome. Just walked around town.

SB is a wonderful city. We did the tour to the mission. Tour was wonderful. The transportation to the mission was not as it was a trolley with hard wooden seats. For normal people this isn't an issue but I was traveling with someone with back issues and every little bump was painful. This was not in the description, as I pointed it out when I went down to talk to the staff about it. Because of that we returned to the ship instead of doing more exploring.

What a beautiful town this place is. We would definitely go back and visit here. We did take the Princess narrated trolley ride, which was about an hour and a half. Our driver pointed out points of interest and we stopped at the Mission for a little while. Then we had time on our own to walk through the town and Sterns wharf.
