We wanted to go to Solvang but the cruise line didn't offer enough Excursions for everyone as many people we talked too were disappointed as well as they all sold out almost immediately and they use to offer more on the ship but they didn't for this port.

No good excursions but a lovely view from the ship of the coast.

Sleepy little place and loved the fact you could walk to it.

Fun town, lots to see, good food

This is a tender port. We took the ship-sponsored excursion to Solvang on your own. I was born and raised in California and had never been, so decided to use our OBC to take this excursion. Very nice drive to Solvang from SB. Nice, quaint little city, with European background. We were there several hours and had plenty of time to look around, have lunch, and shop.

It is OK but since it was raining I did not go into town. On a previous cruise I did the trolley tour- it was nice but no stops (except the Mission and then not enough time to tour ut)- saw a lot of roads and trees.

I’ll still give it 5 stars despite it raining the entire time. But, at least I didn’t have to work.

Loved my trolley tour here. It’s a beautiful town.
