The first day was not good as we were not able to get off the ship until after 4pm due to immigration issues (not enough immingration officials for the number of people on the ship). Most excursions for Day 2 (Thu) did not start until 10 am or so, so it was limited what could be seen in the SF area.

It was very cold and rainy. We were accosted by a homeless person on the way to dinner. We did not have time for an excursion, but enjoyed Pier 39.

Can be a bit tight getting in and out but that is SF in a nutshell.

San Francisco is my home. It was one of the reasons I booked the cruise that began and ended there.

Easy, organized

Overcrowded port. Chaotic. Somehow, my Uber driver found me right away. It is very difficult to get Uber from San Francisco to the East Bay as many people were calling Ubers. The port also has taxi cab drivers available.

Lots of activities going on along Fisherman’s Wharf. Go watch the sea lions. It’s free of charge and close by. Others highly recommended the Alcatrez but tickets were sold out. We will buy tickets ahead of time next round,

We walked around the wharfs and had no issues. Enjoyed clam chowder in a bread bowl, etc

Enjoyed meeting up with friends who took us around the city.
