We went 3 days early and enjoyed the city and wine excursions. All was ruined by the fiasco of embarkation.

The port visit was cut short by over 2 hours, so that we could idle 50 nautical miles from LA for 8 hours prior to the scheduled 4 AM docking. We missed out on a post tour activity that we had planned. We took the Muir Woods tour to see the coastal redwoods, which were awesome, but had to negotiate for an increase from 45 minutes to an hour (several parties), yet the brochure advertises 1 1/2 hours at Muir woods. Stopped at north side of Golden Gate Bridge to be disappointed by all the graffiti, garbage, neglect and disgusting restrooms. The residents of San Francisco and neighboring Sausalito should be ASHAMED!

As always a fun visit but you can tell them are still recovering from Covid as several stores in the Fisherman's Wharf area were closed.

Muir Woods. Fisherman's Wharf. Knob Hill. Golden Gate. How do you not like San Francisco?

Hop on & off was good, since we want to stop at the Fishermen's Wharf & Chinatown. If you want to stop at another location, you might have to wait for vehicle with seat available. Wharf & Chinatown are the 2nd & 3rd stops, so we were able to do a whole tour & loop to our wharf stop.
