I rated 4 due to parking availability. No cruise parking at all. Dependant mostly on privately owned parking lots. Parking 5 blocks away was $25 a day for our full sized SUV.

Beautiful city. Tours on debarkation day were completely booked up which was disappointing and there was no place to "hold" one's luggage. (It was a Sunday so the luggage holding places were closed).

SF has changed so much. Last time here 2014. Don’t remember it being so dirty and smelling like urine on every street. Lots of homeless people you wish you could help. SF landmarks still beautiful!

We did a food walking tour of North Beach, Little Italy, Chinatown that was wonderful.

San Francisco was a great town & we stayed there on the night before our cruise & after. The cab drivers were friendly, and took us to a great place for fish & chips.

I live in the Bay Area and love San Francisco!

It is San Francisco, so traffic can be a struggle, but I love being only 25 miles away and not having to fly anywhere. It's also pretty awesome to sail under the Golden Gate Bridge.
