Nice city port. Various eateries, parks and shops. Wind does carry sand/dust so protect your eyes, even sunglasses will help.

There isn't much to Puerto Madryn itself, however we took an excursion to Punta Loma, where we went to the Eco Center and saw a colony of sea lions, which was good.

You must do the national park but book your trip privately not from the ship we paid $ 100 per person as opposed to $379 pp it’s worth the long journey

Its a port without a lot of value from my perspective. We never used any excursions but rented taxis and got to drive around. It is what it is.

Had big union protests ot dock which NCL failed to notify us of.

It was amazing for the time we spent there. We took a ship sponsored excursion and the bus broke down. We had to transfer to another bus so we arrived very late and was rushed (to see the penguins). Arrived back to the port late but thankfully since this was an excursion booked with Celebrity they waited for us to arrive back. Seeing the penguins was awesome even if rushed.

awesome rural area with animals

No excursion, but went to a local restaurant for lunch. Very easy walk to town, there were a lot of jellyfish in the water and some seals on the stairs right off the dock

Good wildlife excursion, but not an NCL excursion. Did not visit the town itself.
