City seemed fine, but very poor NCL shore excursion

We loved it. We did not take cruise excursion. we joined a free walking tour.

Great city to visit. We saw a lit and enjoyed our time (short) there.

Only shopped right near the pier. Really friendly people. So helpful in the shops.

A great guide Vincente took us around the city, with several stops. We wished we could stay longer, the performance we saw by the carnaval group was amazing.

Do not forget to note the All Aboard time, not the time the Ship leaves in the Itinerary. I am a veteran cruiser and I was the last person to board...They almost left me...I was 20 minutes past and 10 minutes from ship pulling ropes. yikes

Not as much to do and dirty streets with feces

Quiet. We took the City tour. Guide was good, explains the history and the landmarks in the City.

Did not get an excursion and walked towards the center of town but everything was closed since too early in the morning. Suggest using ship excursion.

After the previous ports, this one is rather shabby around in the town, with lots of down and outs. The heavens opened, so we legged it back to the ship. If you like steaks, go to the indoor market.
