Docked at Marina Bay in Singapore at 6pm for an overnight stay. After reading about delays through immigration we waited till about 7.30 and walked straight through, no waiting. Went down to Merlion Park with amazing views over bay to Marina Bay Sands hotel, unfortunately missed the water / laser show. Next morning went to Raffles Hotel for our Singapore Slings in the Long Bar. We were there for 11.15 and waited an hour to get in. Get there for opening other wise you’ll be waiting hours! Cost for 2 Singapore slings was 93 Singapore dollars/ £58/$70 😖 MRT station is well sign posted from cruise port, very clean, safe and easy to use. Guys at info booths at the stations are really helpful and some having walking directions printed to help you find what your looking for! We just used our credit cards, not all will work, instead of tickets on the turnstiles. We must have taken 6 journeys and it cost less than £5 in total!

One of the most incredible cities we have ever been too (we have been to major cities in 60 countries). Went out on our own in the morning, and saw Raffles hotel. Did a tremendous paid excursion in the afternoon. Wish we could have had a second day in Singapore.

Singapore is a stunning city. It's so clean and the locals are nice. I REALLY suggest to explore the hop on hop off bus. It saved so much time and money. Red line and yellow line were my favorite. The yellow line will take you to the botanical gardens (free admission) it's so amazing and vass. And try to book high tea at Flight on the top floor of Marina Bay Sands Hotel .

Disembarkment and we spent a couple of days here. No where near long enough. We used the MRT to get around with no issues. So many ‘must do’s’ here - Marina Bay Sands (pat to go to C’est La Vie bar and have a drink/food overlooking the infinity pool (price of ticket is fully refundable against food or drink), Gardens By The Bay, Raffles (afternoon tea and visit to the Long Bar - queues at peak times), and so on. Stay more than 2 days!

Absolutely beautiful city. We planned to stay longer but had an issue with flight delays & connections wiping out an entire day and a half from our planned stay. We’d love to go back.
