Went to Chankanaab state park to swim with the manatees. Was really great. Booked thru shipmate and was only 120 for 2 ppl. RC wanted that for one but idk what else that may have included. We ended up Buying a picture package that was 130 on top of that but got over 115 pics. Also included a buffet for the 2 of us and endless alcohol & sodas. It also included snorkle gear for 2 and a snorkle private beach. The beach and park are wonderful. The water is gorgeous. My only complaint is I was hoping for some good taco's but the buffet was American food with a tiny bit of stuff to make your own nachos. Would do this again. Loved it.

While docked at Cozumel took a ferry to Playa Del Carmen and then headed to Tulum for a visit to the ruins. Well worth the time and money - the ruins are spectacular and something that North Americans are just not exposed to on a regular basis. Playa is also a very nice town to explore and experience - but stay in the tourist areas.

What I seen of this port I enjoyed. I did not do a shore excursion but I did enjoy taking the time to walk around the shops and shop for souvenirs. Would like to go back to Cozumel and do an excursion

Took the Royal Caribbean shore excursion to Chitzen Itza on the day the found a bomb on one of the ferries 3/1/18, we found this out after the cruise. Some soldiers present at the pier but felt safe the whole time. Took 2 hour mini van ride to the ruins. Our tour guide Carlos was muy bueno! He was awesome, very educational. Well worth the time and cost to see one of the 7 wonders of the world!

Shopping here was a waste of time. If you insist on shopping and want to get to the main shopping center TAKE A TAXI! Don't walk. It was like a Southern Rodeo Drive, no bargins to be had. As we dragged ourselves back to the boat we walked along the beach and regretted that we didn't just rent a chair and sit and enjoy the beach. That would have made for a perfect day. However, two in our group went to Tulum and enjoyed their tour.

This is one of our favorite ports we always enjoy ourselves here. There is so much to do but I would highly recommend the Coba Pyramid and Cenote Swim it was by far one of the best excursions we have done.

Playa del Carmen's beach was very conveniently located the minute you came on shore. The most beautiful clear water.

We stayed at the Royal PDC and had a nice time. It was an adults only resort so that was great! You also had access to the Real across the street. The pool was awesome, beach was a little small but we walked down a ways and explored the area. Always felt safe.

Highly recommend XPlor, Xel-Ha, Coba Mayan Ruins. XPLOR is cool because it has a little of everything. UTV, cave swimming, Zip Lining. Xel-HA is great for snorkeling, cliff jumping, lounging, dolphin swi Coba I liked because it is one of the few ruins you can still climb. Most you can only look at.

Playa del Carmen is a wonderful beach town. I've been there 4 different times and every single one it's been amazing. No complains. People are really friendly and fun.
