Very laid back compared to many other Mexican ports of call.

Loved the bus ride into town. Got to see the country side.

Didn’t go as there was a 40-50 minute bus ride into town. This was not mentioned in the description. There also appeared to be a very long wait line to even board a bus. A huge negative rating for the LaPaz stop.

This was the smallest port and our first stop off the boat. Apparently this was the first time this cruise had stopped in this port, so it was a little unorganized. (They ran out of free shuttle passes really quickly, and then we had to wait a long time for any taxis to show up.) Once we got to La Paz the city, it seemed most people stayed within about a 3-block area if not doing an excursion. We chose to walk most of a mile each way to see the small whale museum "Museo de la Ballena". We paid about $4.50 USD each for an English-speaking guide to give us a 45-minute tour. Hot and humid, but it was interesting enough. Prices were lower outside the main tourist area.

Beautiful. Loved it.

Mismanaged port again. Maybe not Carnival’s fault but it kind of spoiled the port. I would go back and try again.

Very enjoyable to walk around. Long bus ride from port facility to town.

This would have been a great port except it is at 30 minutes from port and the transportation provided by carnival is a nightmare. Tickets for the shuttle went quickly and it was stand by only . So We ended up taking a cab to the beach el Coromuel we met a local here and was set up with an umbrella table & chairs . After a few hours here we took the shuttle to the malecón for lunch as this was the 1st time in La Paz for carnival the town was not ready for the influx of tourists. Our lunch while delicious however the service was very slow. So slow we couldn’t see the rest of the port as the lunch for the shuttle wrapped around the building.
