Just not enough time to do all we wanted to do

The Port Authority did not allow us to disembark because they were still short of 5 Security staff to cope with us, until 1 PM , and consequently some excursions were cancelled. Since Kahului is situated in an industrial area, there is nothing to see or walk around at the port. We could do nothing under these circumstances, but stayed on the ship.

The shore excursions we selected was a beach get away. We paid 130 US per person for 3 hours on a beach with two chairs,the umbrella for those who did not want heatstroke was additional 39US. The beach it self was great. It was 5 star hotel and 5 star price for food (one hamburger with fries and pop and beer..35US.

Did a lot of snorkeling here.

Rented a car and drove around the island.

We used public transportation on the first day in Maui and we traveled to Lahaina to shop and go to Emily’s Beach. It was a good experience. The bus only cost us $8.00 for two people for a day pass. The second day in Maui, we took an official ship’s excursion- it was the Snorkel Adventure to Molokini Crater. It was truly an awesome and unforgettable experience!
