Industrial port. Carnival cancelled my excursion last minute do to insufficient number of participants who wanted to go the pineapple plantation. As a result no other things to do if you don't know the island.

There is a shopping area within walking distance from the ship. It is around a half mile.

Rented a car and visited Volcano. Excellent day.

It is an industrial port and you have to walk quite a way to get to a shopping area. We hired a car and went to the summit but weather was terrible and we couldn't get out of the car up there. Went to a beach area which was nice. The landscape is interesting as it shows lots of lava rock areas where the volcanoes have erupted and lava flowed.

We did the Road to Hana tour via the ship. While the scenery is beautiful, the road was still closed due to landslide. Tour is long and not really sure it's worth it. We also did the Maui Gold Pineapple tour, it was excellent - guides were awesome

Not as impressed as I thought I would be, we did go to the beach but the water was pretty rough making it hard to snorkel and it was expensive going by taxi off the ship nothing was close to the port.

Great and beautiful island. Took an excursion and it was great.

Book a excursion to get the most of the Island

Did the sunset excursion on dormant volcano. It was amazing. The Best of Maui was done the following day and it was mediocre at best.

Beautiful island and love the extended time here.
