Kahului, Maui Port Reviews

We went into the industrial port and it was crap!!! Had to get av taxi to get to the other side of the island. $200+ be prepared that the pier in the void side has not been repaired thus ships go somewhere that has literally nothing..m and I'm not exaggerating... nothing.

Beautiful Island but the port was very dirty and had a lot of litter

We went on the excursion up to the top of Haleakala Crater and it was great. It is quite cold so bring and jacket or coat. You get to walk around on top of the crater too :)

Whale watching excursion great

yes whale watching It was great! Saw quite a few whales and enjoyed it very much

It rained for the 2 days in Maui, dampening our activities

Great beach day

Maui was good. We chose the beginning of February to visit as it is the height of humpback whale watching season. My wife visited a friend that lives on Maui while I went whale watching. It was a great excursion. I saw whales from the bus as it pulled up in the parking lot of the harbor. A really wonderful 3 hours on the water with whales. The staff on the boat was great. They shared a lot of info about whales and helped me understand the behavior I was seeing.

Excursion cancelled because of high wind. We were looking forward to seeing Maui the most. They were too cautious.
