We took the Roberts Hawaii tour to Rainbow Falls/Lavaland. This was less expensive than the tour excursion on the ship. Our driver, Mr. Miles was excellent. Provided wonderful narration of the sights we visited.

The national park at the volcano is all but closed, they will let you pay to get in, but the majority of the park is closed.

Green sand beach was beautiful and had a blast renting a ride with the 4-wheel drive guy to get from the harbor to the beach.

You spend an overnight here and there's nothing to do directly off the ship. You have to take a cab or bus to go anywhere. Wish we would've stayed overnight at a different port.

Earl was a good guide at Volcano National Park and Rainbow Falls. Enjoyed all the stops and Lava tube too.
