Volcano National Park Excursion

This was a nice stop but the excursion seemed drawn out. The large group/bus made this boring. We visited 2 stores which were similar. We felt that we could have explored better on our own

Big city. Excellent excursion to volcano, lava tube, black sand beach and volcano national park through Trip Advisor. Hanibal was our guide and was excellent.

The worst port in Hawaii nothing to do at all they have a free shuttle in town which 2 block by block and nothing else.

We decided against volcano or whatever and just went into town. Not great, but nice to stretch our legs

Volcano national park is a must!

Even tho the weather didn't cooperate, we enjoyed our excursion to black sand beach, rainbow falls and the volcano park

Our visit to this port was messed up due to the last-minute change in itinerary due to the captain going too close to the shore of Kauai on the cruise that came from Sydney. (See previous note in the review.) Shore excursions on this cruise were insanely overpriced if purchased from the cruise line. Found this to be the case on a previous Celebrity Cruise.

Rent a car and go to the Botanic Garden, the waterfalls, the vocano, etc. The Big Island is magical in every way!

Loved the national park - no lava flowing but the visit was very nice even though we had some rain
