Beautiful water falls.

First day stayed on the ship but we were bored to tears and it was crowded. Second day did the waterfalls and historic Hilo which is not an attractive town.

Very old town and not much to see or do. Did a small tour with a private company. Be aware of homeless people

Here we took the botanical garden, zipline/waterfall. An excellent excursion. Lots of fun ziplining through the jungle over rivers and a waterfall. The botanical garden was lovely - well marked with lots of orchids and views of the ocean. The staff took pictures of us ziplining and emailed them to us afterwards which was nice part of the overall excursion.

Tropical Farm Tour & Rainbow Falls tour was the best of the 4 we took while in Hawaii. Tour guide Zach was great. Super well-informed. The OK Ranch was such an interesting place to visit. Walking thru all the spice trees and plants was a true experience. The waterfalls were beautiful. Loved being able to sample the fruits and nuts. And being able to purchase items grown on their farm was great. Best!

We decided to rent a car to see the sights on our own. We had free admittance to Volcanoes NP, and we saw things we would have been able to see with a tour. Choose a rental that picks you up at the docks. We used Budget and got a full sized sedan for about $100.

Excellent island tour through Big C Island Tours. We got to see Kilauea volcano come alive! Also Rainbow falls and the Thurston lava tube.

Took the free shuttle from the cruise port to Farmer's Market. We wanted a fresh pineapple and bought one for $6 and had it cut up. There were other vendors selling them for $18. Some good prices on souvenir items. Had lunch at Ken's House of Pancakes and I ate the Sumo sized Moco Loco. Hung out at Liliuokalani gardens then walked back to the ship.

Volcano Park was a bust on the bus off the bus then the bus broke down so did not get to see downtown Hilo and wasted half of the trip waiting on the side of the road for bus repairs
