We only had a few hours there. It was way too short.

Loved this port prettier than Lisbon

OMG those hills!!!!!

Also cancelled for same reason. But the strikes never happened. It seemed presumptuous of them to cancel two ports at once. By the time we passed Porto, it was apparent based on news reports that the strikes weren't going to happen.

Home city of port wine. Had a scenic bus excursion

the best port of call, terminal was modern, quiet, & systematic.

The ship did not dock in its usual downtown port and did not provide a shuttle into the city. However after speaking to destination services they provided tickets for the Hop on off bus into the city. Unfortunately Porto is undergoing major work on there metro system so many streets are impassable. It was very busy but well worth the walk down old stone steps to the port side with markets and boat tours. Walk across the bridge for amazing views of the Porto skyline.

Oh my gosh we loved this port. We booked a Tuk-tuk. Our driver Bernardo was fabulous. The views were breathtaking. Such a cool place.
