Same as all. If you are not taking the overpriced excursions it is difficult to arrange transportation from the ship to the town.

This was one of our favorite stops. We walked around a day. Had lunch at a cute little old pub.

Took a train to St Andrews!

Great destination just way too crowded.

King was there for his Scottish coronation so there was a lot of security while we were in port, making it difficult to get around.

Tender port and a nightmare. First tenders were only for Haven passengers or those on an NCL excursion. Had a private tour (Butlers Chauffer) which was wonderful. Over an hour wait in cold and rain to get a tender back to the ship.

The Falkirk wheel excursion was cancelled - we just went out on our own in Edinburgh.

We went to St. Andrews and loved seeing the golf course and the town. It is a 80 minute bus ride out to the course so keep that in mind.

A wonderful city. We boarded a hop on/hop off bus at the harbor which took us into the center of the city. There we got on to another part of the line that had a live guide who gave a very interesting tour. There are many options for visits if one had the time.
