Le Havre (Paris), France Port Reviews

Nice. We did a 11-hour day trip to Paris. Three hour drive each way through Normandy. The tour includes a driving tour through Paris to see famous landmarks, plus a visit to the Eiffel Tower and “free time”. The free time is so short that the trip is very fast for those who have never been to Paris before. However, Paris is a city worth visiting many times in my experience. We had been to Paris before so we were happy to see it again and have lunch on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. The visit to the Eiffel Tower was a photo op for people to take a picture of the tower and shop at souvenir stores. We lost lots of time due to people being late back to the bus. This was annoying because it happened more than once. Not the tour organizer’s fault. This is due to inconsiderate people.

Long drive but excursion was very good

Honestly Princess needs to eliminate this stop and add an extra day on one of the other ports like Edinburgh. I don’t think there’s enough time to go to Paris since it is 3 hours away but I guess is worth the risk. Whatever you do, don’t stay in La Havre is a ghost town, is dirty and expensive. Now the little market was nice as well as the catholic cathedral but that’s it.

Enjoyed the excursion to Giverney and Rouen.

2-1/2 Hours by bus to Paris, and 3-1/2 hours back due to accidents both ways. We only stopped once for pictures. Cut the lunch down to a short stop so we can photograph highlight spots. While the guide is well educated, her accent was too hard to understand.

Went on ships tour. Bus, boat ride, free time…wonderful excursion

We took the Paris and leisure excursion and we just drove by sites (after a 3 hour bus drive). We did get dumped off for 2 1/2 hours by the museum district. There were no restaurants or shops nearby. We got no directions on where to walk, so we sat in a park for 2 hours rather than risk getting lost. I was so disappointed in this excursion!

Overlord Tour of Normandy. I loved it.

Just wasn't that much to see or do here.

Interesting, long ride to a very old town.
