Did a Celebrity excision to Portovennere and then a coastal cruise of Cinque Terra that ended in Monterosso where we walked around for awhile. We ate lunch at a fancy hotel restaurant with amazing views. Awesome day.

Great time independently exploring and spending time in the Pisa area. Enjoyed a beautiful tagliatelle dish here. Calamity struck when the trains heading back were all delayed and we were quite late back for the ship! Fortunately, there were many of us in the same situation and the ship waited for us. Stressful but exciting at the same time and appreciated the camaraderie of the other passengers going through the same thing. Was also impressed that station staff handed out food and water due to long waiting time.

Great port, there are many nearby options to expore. We walked to the train station and took a 20 minute very cheap train ride through the Cinque Terre citys and explored them on foot. They are picturesque and easy enough to do in one day. 100% recommend

We took an excursion to Catherdal Square. Very nice tour. Then a tour around Relia Piazza Signoria and then a nice lunch of salad, pasta, bread, wine and panacotta for dessert. Our tour guide was very informative.

The Farmhouse wine tasting tour is really overrated. Would not recommend.
