Unfortunately it was a very windy day so the vendor cancelled our Windmills by Barge which was understandable. Instead redid the walking tour to the windmills which was very interesting.

We enjoyed the windmill tour. It provided a scenic walk and a look inside a windmill that was fascinating. As birders, we also strolled on our own and saw some interesting birds.

Oh, no, this was our last stop on our Viking cruise. Included tour of the windmills was very interesting. These are now non-working windmills and they have no millers working them. They look huge, but, they are very small inside. We were told one of the windmills had a family of 13 children living in it. I can't imagine it..

I enjoyed the windmills and the guide was great. If you can get past the smell the cheese making tour was good as well.

Walking tour and got to visit inside the living area of a windmill. Learned much about their history.

Long bus ride due to a ship not being available at beginning of cruise.

Interesting and lots of information about how they control water level.

It was very interesting to see a windmill up close, glad we did.
