We did, but due to weather the 'scenic' tour was a bit of a bust. Didn't get much views due to the clouds/weather.

Not to be missed. Most can be ciovered on foot, but beware of hills if you are not in shpae. Views are spectacular, city had some parade at that day which added some fun

A nice port to wander around. We explored the town in the morning and then did an excursion in the afternoon.

Super nice. Plenty of shops but if your trying to buy a water bottle they don't know what water bottles are so it's gonna be confusing!

Loved the bus excursion visiting Madeira! Wish I would have gotten the same tour with the cable car and wine tasting.

Take the cable car up and the toboggans down. Amazing, but get there early, as some other groups had a 2 hour wait

Lots to see on our tour.

First time here, we took a long strenuous walk uphill and through the narrow picturesque streets before taking the hop-on-hop-off tour around the rest of the island.

Walking distance to the city 20-25 minutes. We opted for the shuttle bus offered by Princess Cruises. Took the cable car. Beautiful view all the way up. Possibility to descend in a traditional way: Slide controlled by 2 men.
