Treasures of Medieval Waterford

Did excursion with RCCL .. recommend doing your own and paying half the price..Waterford ok was thinking the Mid Evil museum wouldn't be right across the street from crystal factory thought it would be in countryside but all in all pretty little city

Hate tendering you port. Port was ok but then it’s a long bus ride where ever you want to go. Only 1 serviceable bus to Waterford, did not have time to go. Our tour guide took us to a pub for 1.5 hours and then on a 1.5 hour bus ride telling us he will find a toilet but never did. We had 1 brief stop to glimpse the copper cost mine, no toilet. Would not do again!

LOVED Dunmore, but didn’t get to enjoy it. We were held captive by Celebrity because you didn’t bother to tender your guests in a timely fashion. We sat in the theater for an HOUR and TWENTY minutes while your employee kept repeating “Don’t worry, this won’t affect your tour! Really, we weren’t in port that long and we just sat there waiting for a tender. On the way back, the line was sooo long we were offered iced wash cloths and water…just tender me in a timely fashion, so I can spend more time on port. Also our excursion…visiting the pub was awesome. The rest of the tour we just sat on a bus. It needs some more stops for pictures or personal time in the towns…just not driving and taking.

We had visited Ireland a couple of years ago but had not gone to Waterford, so this was a treat. We LOVE Ireland. the people are kind, welcoming and very friendly. We took the Waterford Crystal tour which was fascinating and then explored on our own.

Wish we had more free time

Took a cab into town and walked around an amazing area founded by the Vikings.

I did not like the tour. There should have been an audio portion on this tour. It would ofade you understand what you were looking at. While the lunch was fine, but you had to walk a distance a long a narrow street to get there. The guide was terrible. When we got to Waterford she didn't know how long the tour was had to ask someone. Did offer any information where you could shop if you got out of the castle or Waterford factory early.
