We did not do an excursion but we did go to the fort and walked around the area. It was ok but not a lot to do. We also found out that all restaurants and most stores in that area close at 2pm for several hours.

Very interesting and enjoyable excursion. Good combo of new and old.

We took an excursion to Quimper which was a charming, quaint town. Brest did not have anything of interest to us.

We took the bus into the city and got off at the first stop. We found a young lady who was conducting a tour and joined it. It was a walking tour and lasted about 3 hours and the charge was only 15 Euro per person.

We arrived on a chilly rainy Sunday so there were no stores or restaurants open in Morlaix, amazing architecture, cobble stoned roads & sidewalks. Toured Chateau de Kerjean, steeped with history. History buffs heaven. In the process of modernization so some places were not available toggle public. Would like to visit Morlaix when everything is open. French spoken, managed with the odd French word & sign language!
