I loved Copenhagen! I only had one day before my flight home, so I researched some places I wanted to visit ahead and got the city card. It was worth it as I got to visit the round tower, climb to the top of the Church of the Savior, see the royal palace and all the museums within, and visit Tivoli Gardens amusement park at the end of the day. I want to come back here again with more time.

We did the mostly on your own Copenhagen excursion and had a wonderful day. It was great to be able to explore on our own but also leave about the area as well.

We chose to walk 3.5 miles from our hotel to the ship, touring Copenhagen along the way.

This is where we ended our cruise and stayed for a couple days. Tivoli Gardens was nice - especially if you have kids. It’s an amusement park but it is pricey.
