Copenhagen is a gorgeous city. So clean and beautiful, went in 2 days early and went to Tivoli Gardens and Nyhavn. Would have loved to spend more time there.

HAL arranged airfare, we arrived in the late morning and left mid-afternoon. We had little chance to visit. Suggest staying several days before departure.

Disembarked here and spent a few extra days. I highly suggest staying and seeing Copenhagen. Be sure to go out to Friederiksborg Castle, its worth it!

Took another company for an 8-hour tour of churches and castles. Memorable!

An unexpected jewel for all the places we visited. Absolutely beautiful city and it was one 'picture postcard' after another. We had an excursion that drove us around for a couple hours and saw all the most important sites, including 'the little mermaid' and then took a canal cruise for a couple hours and saw everything from a truly different most times better vantage point. We also tried a "Hop-on Hop-off" on the second day since others had told us it is a great way to tour. Being new to the hop on/off mode, we only got off once to shop for souvenirs and a snack. It was confusing to us the first time since we had some delays and had to get off one bus and get on another on two occasions. I need to read more about how to take advantage of this service and try to find the 'don't do's' but it seems interesting since they have recorded talks about the area we drove, some of the same things that our excursion guide told us.

We spent two days in city prior to sailing and they were wonderful. Great place to visit.

Copenhagen was okay but our tour guide was not great. The canal part of the tour was better than the bus ride through town.

There were some beautiful things to look at. Tivoli gardens was beautiful and we had so much fun!

We bought "All Routes" Hop-on, Hop-off bus tickets ahead of the cruise. When we were in Copenhagen, we also went on a boat tour. The boat tour guide was really very informative, and we were able to see a lot of Copenhagen from the boat. We found we did not use the bus the second day, as we had seen all we wanted to see on the first day in port.
