We spent a few days on our own in Amsterdam. The Anne Frank House and Rijksmuseum are worth a visit. Make sure you take a food walking tour and canal cruise.

A great ,well organized, cruise terminal is a real advantage for this port. We did visit other sites in the Netherlands and visited family members, but did not take any excursions.

easy to navigate. stayed at the Movinpick with is right next door to the port.

We did not have an excursion here. After disembarkation we stayed 4 days. Had a delightful visit to the Van Gogh Museum, Hop on/Hop Off bus and lots of walking.

Excursion was good. The City is fantastic. However, the hotel stay was not good at all. Very poor value for the money.

Waterways excursion. Loved Amsterdam and all the canals. After excursion, we walked around. Easily walkable from ship. Watch out for all the bicyclists though!

Even though everyone seems to smoke and the city is generally dirty, the museums and sights to see are a must at least once in your life. Trying the frites at a couple places is fun and enjoyable.
