This is a must. When you're in Amsterdam, please visit the city. It is a wonderful place and the food is excellent.

we walked on our own into the city and it was an easy walk

We took the canal tour Waterways of Amsterdam through NCL. With the free at sea perks, one cruise in the cabin was free. It was very informative. A great way to see the city. We tried to venture out after, but quickly got lost and confused, so we retraced our steps back to the ship and relaxed by the pool.

Very dirty city, with a lot of loose trash and very large crowds. Pretty much the worst part of the cruise.

We spent our time in Amsterdam visiting the Royal Palace and that vicinity, as we had already visited the museum district on a previous trip. The museums are much more of a great experience, and that area is very beautiful to stroll. Our canal cruise was different from a previous one, so it was great to get another perspective of the beautiful city. Walking around is a bit of a chore, since the traffic, vehicle and bicycles, is non-stop. Note that when the lights change red, the bike traffic doesn't necessarily pay attention to it!

Loved our time in Amsterdam. No excursion.

Amsterdam is very walkable. Had a good canal cruise. Public transportation is excellent.

Great. Walked everywhere. So much to do. Easy to get around.

Didn’t feel safe at night and the marijuana smell was everywhere!
