Canal tour was great

We flew in early to see as much of Amsterdam as we could. Beautiful city with many shops, cafes and museums! We saw the Red Light District, the Jordan District, Anne Frank House, Edam, Zaanse Schans, canal cruise and Marken.

Arrived 4 days before cruise. Check out With locals, booked City Tour, food tour, & Kuetchekof gardens tour. Also did a Black History tour!! Loved it

Wonderful city. It was unfortunate, however, that we arrived the day after a popular parade so the city was very dirty. Take a boat tour through the canals, it is nice and relaxing

2 days pre cruise .. very safe No excursion

This is another destination that deserved an overnight stay instead of a curtailed visit. We were supposed to have a full day into the evening in port. Days before arriving, the ship announced some maintenance was being done on the city's locks, which would require the ship to leave by 3:30 pm. This cut the planned tours short and no more evening canal cruise. Then, the ship arrived 1 hour late into port. We had only 5 hours in this magnificent city.

No excursion through the ship…stayed there for 5 days after the cruise.

We LOVED Amsterdam. We went in two nights before the cruise and stayed an extra night at the end and enjoyed every minute of it. We visited the Anne Frank and Van agog have Museums, Took a canal cruise, walked many miles, and enjoyed local restaurants and stores.

We went on a Pizza and Beer Canal cruise in the evening. I booked it on VIator. It was very enjoyable, the food was decent and the Heineken was flowing.
