TRIESTE (VENICE), ITALY Port Reviews

The port was an old facility. This was our disembarkation point so all we did was exit the facility and wait for our transfer ride to Venice.

We only disembarked. Loved the port but had to stay and take transportation on our own, bc you did not offer tours in the after excursion.

Get here a few days early! It's a great town to explore and possibly using as base to visit the countryside, Ljubljana or Lake Bled.

Loved Trieste.

Very poor weather, so didn’t get off the ship. Weather in Trieste delayed us, and made us miss our next stop in Olympia.

Did go on a tour

Spend the time to go to Venice. Booking a hotel near the airport offers an easy bus trip in and out of Venice. A 2 day pass gives you access to all buses and vaporettos.

Nice town/city to walk around on your own. The ship docked right in the heart of town and our cabin had a wonderful view of the old buildings.

NCL should have had a ships person available to great us when we got off the bus from the airport.
