We did an excursion to a farm with food and wine tasting. The experience was great. A small group that had lunch and learned about history and importance of the local products.

Spent little time in Sorrento opting to travel to the Isle of Capri which was wonderful

Giving Sorrento 4 stars because even though there was steady rain the entire day, we could see that it's a beautiful place. Took a ship excursion to Pompeii, and this is the only ship tour that we and others were very unhappy with. Very bad time management on part of the tour company. Didn't help that it rained heavily and that Pompeii was mobbed with tourists and school groups.

Took the shuttle to the city center and walked the port. Had lunch in an ally restaurant which was excellent.

We have been here several times in the past and love it!

Excursion to Amalfi was very nice, but very touristy

I opted for the "Cheese & Wine Tasting at a Local Casale" excursion, but it fell short of its value. The owner of the Casale appeared irritated by our presence, and the wines we sampled were basic house wines labeled Red and White. It was a disappointing experience that didn't justify the time or cost.

Went to Pompeii, trip there was picturesque and the ruins were everything I had been looking to see.

Not a fan of the Capri excursions - would have been nicer exploring Sorrento
