NAPLES (POMPEII), ITALY Port Reviews

Port was dirty. Just so so dirty. We originally had an excursion tour planned for Pompeii but it was going to be leaving at 1pm and the temp was over 100 degrees and we just decided to call it. Walked around for a bit and then got back on the ship and relaxed.

I love Naples, but there weren’t enough activities to do as far as excursions. We took a taxi to so rental. That would’ve been a better choice.

Ship stop there 2 times. On our own. Went to Capri the first time and Pompeii the second time.

Did the excursion to Pompeii. If this was the only part of the rating, then the rating would be a 5. However, the port entrance and town around the port was not good. The area was sketchy, dirty and full of graffiti. Even other passengers made the same comment.

3rd visit to this port. Went on an excursion to the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento by land and sea. Excellent way to see this beautiful area

Long lines and expensive tickets.

Pompeii gets 5 stars but the excursion was rushed and we only had 2 hours to explore the site, even they we were in port late and the site was open for more than another hour after we left.

Did Pompeii tour...excellent (but private tour much better and cheaper)

Spent hours at airport searching for missing luggage
