Been there , did a hop on hop off bus

Not enough time to see it all. Must take an excursion if you have never been.

Took taxi to Pompei. Tip. Do not take taxi that jumps on you as soon as you leave ship. They wanted $150. Walked 1 block away and taxi offered $100 for the same round trip and 2 hours there. Go early and still have time for Pizza and see Naples

They need to allow more time in Naples/Pompeii- too short a visit!

Naples, Italy. I highly recommend you do the walking food tasting excursion – it’s worth every penny! We learned about the various castles in Naples, the former Royal Palace – now a museum – as well as the opera house where Mozart once performed (my husband loves his music). Our first stop we got to enjoy Sfogliatelle (Safoia-tella) and espresso. I made sure to buy a few more pastries before getting back on board! Very yummy! We next had lunch at a small café and the pizza was good (just a rung under what they had onboard) as was the wine which they sold for 10 Euro per bottle – hard pass for me on the limoncello, though my husband drank it. Our tour ended at a small gelato place that was amazing. If I could describe Naples in a word: Fabulous!

Didn't see much of Naples, but we had a good independent tour of Sorrento, Amalfi Coast and Pompeii

toured the Amalfi coast, very beautiful.

Extremely dirty city and everyone at the dinner table got scammed right off the port that day. our friends did the excursion and it didn't even pay for the tickets to get into Pompeii. The bus was supposed to bring them to a second location and never did with no reimbursement.

Very large & busy port. Like NYC.

Pompeii did not disappoint. Amalfi coast was gorgeous
