I hated to having to take the smaller boat from the ship to get to shore BUT this is the best beach I have ever been to. The white powdery sand, the clear blue water, and the perfect weather got me hook, line, and sinker. I have to go back one day non negotiable.

This is seriously one of the prettiest beaches I’ve ever been to! The water is such a unique color that it looks fake, and the sand is powdery soft. Get there early if you want a chair in the shade! We had FTTF and were on the first tender. We got two chairs under a tree, and it was perfect! We brought our own snorkeling gear and were able to snorkel on our own. There wasn’t much, but it was still enjoyable! We actually went back to the ship for lunch, so we didn’t try to the BBQ. Based on what I heard from other people, though, you want to come back early. Do not wait until the end to tender because you’ll have to wait in a super long line in a HOT shed thing! I would’ve liked another day in HMC and to skip Nassau!

I have visited several ports and this is by far my favorite one! We look for a cruise making sure that it stops here. Wish ship could stay there for 2 days. We have gotten a cabana the past 3 times and it is the way to go. Shade, air conditioning, snacks, soda, water, table with chairs. We had #11 last cruise and it was great! Close to restrooms, close to buffet and quieter & more private than the lower number cabanas with a roped off swimming area right in front of our cabana.

By far the best beach I have been to! We rented a villa and it was very clean and the workers were awesome ! Delivered our fruit and nachos along with water and pop within 5 minutes of arriving. There are bartenders that travel up and down the beach taking orders if you want . Water is so beautiful you can see the bottom and not rocky at all.

Half Moon Cay was paradise on earth! We were there in September of 2016, couldn’t have asked for a better beach day. We had the luxury of renting a villa which made the experience that much greater, they have wonderful food for it to be a buffet style. We are returning to Half Moon Cay in May of this year and hope for the same type weather, we have also rented the villa this time around, which if you have never did I would recommend.
