We rented a clam shell and stayed on the beach. It was one of our best days on the cruise.

a carnival cruise line tourist trap.. Nice weather we had though. The cookout on the island was terrible.

It was really cool, but you didn't feel like you were visiting a new country because it was just a tourist trap...and that's fine - we were tourists!

Beautiful beach, but excursions are scarce.

Beautiful island but did not get off the ship this time. Have been there many times so wanted to enjoy peace and quiet on the ship without so many kids running around.

Rent the beach umbrella as soon as you book this cruise. There are not enough umbrellas and beach chairs for even half of the passengers that disembark. The sun is extremely hot and the sun will burn you even with sunscreen SPF 50 and sitting under an umbrella. It was over 90 degrees and my fitbit was tracking my resting heart rate at 117. This is my heartrate when I am lightly jogging on my treadmill. So be safe and rent the umbrella. The beach is beautiful and the water is very calm. The buffet is from 11:30am- 1:30pm and there is no food after this time on this island. So make sure you eat enough if you plan to stay on the island until 5pm.

Loved the private island; Carnival offering free lunch; staff was great during lunch crowded making it move smoothly and friendly. Need to offer more chairs for the beach having that the island is private for others to move around vs. having a crowded in one area. Nice trolley to pick up passengers from the island of the front of the port. There's was a bit of a wait for a water shuttle Carnival needs to expand the cover for passengers waiting the sun beaming.

Great beach and water is stunning. Limited excursions but a nice experience.
