We enjoyed walking around this private resort (Built for NCL use). It reminded me of a huge beach town with large pool and beach areas. Many shops to help you lighten your wallet.

Nice beach day - weather was rough for a while. Rented a kayak which was nice.

Love the beach and pool here. Very very nice NCL private island. We ate at the restaurant here;…… very expensive. Would not eat there again

We kayaked and saw iguanas, jelly fish, starfish, and more! The Mountain View was beautiful!

Treat it like you are on an all inclusive trip, but the beach out front is not included. It makes sense why your beverages and food don’t transfer over, but it also shouldn’t be as expensive as it is. I recommend just taking the day to enjoy the pool and beach, and just head back whenever you are done. We didn’t do any activities here, and treated it like a rest day between action packed excursions at the 3 other ports. It grew on me the longer we stayed there.

We loved the port and the tour guides . We enjoyed our day with a city tour and a trip to the Mayan Ruins , and visiting the rain forest . Very humid and lots of mosquitos ! Don’t forget your bug spray

We loved this stop. I think NCL would have been better served to market it as an “NCL exclusive port” rather than a “Private Island”. The private island designation implies that certain amenities included on the ship are also included on the island - which is not the case here. I found it to be a much nicer version of Carnival’s Mahogany Bay private port in Roatan. Nothing is included but the facilities are great. I found the layout of the island to be great with both beach and pool options available. Plenty of food and drink were available for purchase and standard vacation destination prices. Also, although not a ton of variety, there was shopping available for souvenirs and trinkets. I thought the island was visually very beautiful and really appreciated all the thought and planning that went into its construction. I highly recommend this destination if an inexpensive beach / pool day is what interests you. There are also plenty of excursions available for purchase. I would recommend cheap water shoes here due to the course feel of the sand. Also, not sure if this is seasonal or storm related, but there was a very large amount of seaweed present the day we visited. Overall though NCL really hit a home run with Harvest Caye (as long as you understand it’s not a traditional private island).

We visited with 7 people and booked a Private Villa through NCL. It rained until 11 so having the villa was perfect. We were under cover and had the benefit of our butler Vivi who went out of her way to meet our every need. The villa had a great sound system, plenty of seating, AC and a private full bathroom. It also had a private beach with your own chairs and umbrellas. We even had a turtle nest right next to the back porch. The food was all great though choices were limited. My wife said the lobster was her favorite meal of the whole trip and I had conch fritters that were very well done. If you divide the cost by 6, this “excursion” is not very expensive per person and worth every penny. Yes, the ship meal and drink plans do not convey but they don’t work on every other stop either and we still got off. I would not do this stop any other way.
