Harvest Caye, Belize Port Reviews

This is a lovely, safe extension of the NCL experience. We also wanted to see the real Belize so we booked a bus tour to the small Mayan ruins and Spice Farm. Our tour guide, Nate, took us through his home village, explained modern customs of the Mayan people and generally made us feel like his bruddas an sistahs for the day. Caution: in the real Belieze, they have real biting insects. Wear long pants and shirts. I opted out of using insect repellant because I didn't want to ruin the fragrant experience at the Spice farm.

No... we were told the ship could not go to belize...the port I really wanted to go to, so that hurt. But I guess it happens

Total lack of information about opportunity to spend time on Harvest Caye instead of useless and costly excursion, information about port of calls should be widely available on the website ahead of cruise for a proper planning. In addition, constant requests for additional tips was annoying

Nice pool area and beach. Number of activities. Would be better if drinks and food were included. It is NCL owned and drunks served in NCL cups... still cost more. We went back to ship to eat lunch.

My understanding is that this is Norwegian's private island (I could be wrong here). If that's the case, I couldn't understand why the food and drinks weren't included as they would be on the ship. They did have a great pool though, along with a kid water area, butterfly aviary, ice cream shop, souvenir shops, etc. There was enough space here to enjoy the facilities.

Beautiful beach and pool. This is a great place to swim and enjoy the water!

This 'private island' is not the greatest experience unless you just want a beach day. There is a small zoo-like area with an immersive butterfly house that was cool. I'd recommend finding an excursion here to get away from the private island

Pool and beach were amazing

Beautiful, but you're drink package doesn't apply even though it's an NCL private area. Snorkeling excursion was fantastic! People there are wonderful.
