Curacao is a beautiful, colorful, quaint Dutch Antilles island. We did a Resort for the Day at the Hilton and it had a small beach and wonderful snorkeling. Our lunch was only average at this resort. The pools were nice and there is a walkway around the rocky shore line where we saw large iguanas.

Loved Curaçao! It’s beautiful, bright, clean and welcoming. Did a little walking around and took a taxi to the beach. Had an incredible day. Didn’t feel rushed because we were there from 7am until 10 pm.

Now one of my favorite places;I will definitely be going back there via cruise and flying to stay for a week or so. My tip is to go on the tour with IRIE Tours excellent tour for only $25 per person. They serve rum punch beer soda and water on the bus (all exclusive) they give you a wonderful tour of the island,making a few stops so you can get off the bus to take beautiful pictures. They also stop by the liquor still so you can see how liquor is made and you can have taste samples as well as buy. Then they take you to Mumba Beach which is very nice,there is also a private pool area there that is absolutely lovely ($20 per person extra charge) but well worth it ,also there is a shopping area with restaurants. Overall a solid port. We have walked around in the past, however this time we did a Resort for the Day at The Santa Barbara Beach & Resort. Again we booked this on our own. It's about a 25-30 minute drive from the port, however you get to see some more of Curacao which was cool. The resort has more of a relaxed atmosphere, however, it was clean and absolutely beautiful! I would definitely recommend this resort to others looking for a relaxed atmosphere, with clean amenities, and beautiful location. The service was great as well.

Curacao was amazing! What a wonderful spot to visit. We didn't do an excursion. We took a taxi to Mambo Beach returning mid-afternoon. We walked around the town and did some shopping.. We loved this port

We walked around the town shopped . Then took a 2 dollar taxi ride per person to Mambo beach . You pick the taxi up near the floating market behind the circular market building . Just remember you need some cash on you some places have pay toilets !
