Our excursion was the sea trek helmet snorkel and dive super cool 20 ft under water with snorkel helmets on we walked and a path under water that had pvc pipe rails to hold on to saw some historic pieces that had got blown into the water from the hurricanes. The diver took my phone I was videoing with and snorkeled through the sunken submarine fish swimming all around us! It was an amazing experience! After we took a taxi to find local island food we always asked where the best place was the locals were always nice !

There was a riot on the French side of the island that the cruise director called a strike to down play the riots and we were told to stay on the dutch side of the island. We had planned on going to the French side so we took a water taxi to the beach close to port instead. It was fun but one of the servers at a restaurant we went to was being extra nice to my wife which was great until she gave my wife a hug and used it as an opportunity to reach her hand into my wife's bag until she saw that I saw what she was doing and she then played it off. Watch your things while you are there.

Mullet Bay Beach was beautiful. Be aware the you must get a cab back to ship before 3pm to make back to ship by 4:30pm. Lots of traffic and one way streets

Arrive to this port in the MSC Seaside, took a taxi to Maho Beach, nice ride, you can still see the damage of the Huracane Irma around the island, the beach is pretty small for the amount of people that wants to see the planes landing but is a great experience when you are in the water, caught a very good video when I was swimming almost alone
