We went on the dolphin adventure. It was a long boat ride over. Everything was well organized. They won't allow you to take your own pictures. You had to buy them on a CD, and it was $$$.

Beautiful island! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We went to both sides of the island. We liked the Dutch side better; however, the French side is definitely worth seeing! The shopping, beaches, and sea were just amazing. We cannot wait to go back!

go to the Butterfly Farm it is beautiful and lots of butterflies.The guides are very knowledgeable also the it includes a tour of both sides of the island.

So much to do at this port. Took the ferry boat across to the main shopping area and had a really fun day doing lots of shopping. Great deals and lots of food. Definitely recommend this port for shopping and drinking.

Beautiful island with lots to do. The port is easy to get through to find a cab. Before you leave the port, go buy a guavaberry coolata! Found the scenery to be breath taking and had a lot of fun at Maho beach watching the planes come in and take off. Did some shopping at Phillipsburg getting cuban cigars, perfumes and momentos. Got some awesome gruper and gouda sticks at the Blue Bitch on the boardwalk and enjoyed the walk back to port

We have ported in Phillipsburg, St Maarten on 3 different occasions. It is a perfect spot to get all manner of things one might wish to bring home. Fantastic deals on Canon “L” series lenses, GoPro cameras and accessories, cigars, linens, jewelry, cigarettes, and alcohol. Not to mention $1 Heineken and Presidente everywhere you turn. The price at the Duty Free near Hard Rock Cafe for Johnie Walker Blue is about $100/750ml. In comparison, an Identical bottle in Buffalo, NY is about $225. My absolute favorite port to bum around on shore, and drink.

Beautiful place. Lots to see and do. Well worth getting off your ship to explore.
