Best stop on the trip! 5$ to go to the boatyard and 20$ to get into the club area. Once you are at the boatyard everything’s included such as water trampolines, boat with snorkel gear that takes you to the shipwreck and turtles, free drink, free umbrella chairs, free taxi back to ship, free WiFi, rope swing, jump off pier all for 20$!! Excellent beach that has awesome sand and water without pushy people trying to sell you stuff. We enjoyed his place greatly and would go back in a heartbeat.

So you want a beach, take your pick...too many to choose from. You want history, visit the forts, English style churches, Bridgetown cricket ground (ten minutes walk from the ship), visit Trafalgar Square. Rum factories, fruit plantations, beautiful scenery. Barbados has the lot. The cruise terminal is situated approximately twenty to twenty-five minutes walk from the centre of Bridgetown, mostly on flat though slightly uneven surfaces. Normally it is hot so a taxi might be a good bet.

Beautiful, clean and friendly people made this island a great place to visit. We went on a catamaran excursion that included snacks, beverages and a hot lunch. You could snorkel and see the majestic sea turtles that live in the waters there. There are some some other colorful fish as well. We really enjoyed our time in Barbados and would definitely consider coming back to stay there for a few days to explore more of its natural beauty.

One of my most favorite ports! We paid $5 pp each way for a shuttle to Harbour Lights on Carlisle Bay. I had pre-booked and paid for 2 chairs and an umbrella ($25 total) which included use of the showers and bathrooms. We had a wonderful time. Another great DIY excursion.

We walked to The Boatyard. So many taxi drivers wanted to drive us for $4 a person but the walk was quick and easy! The Boatyard charges $20 a person and you get access to their beach which includes umbrellas and chairs, rope swing off the pier, playground on the water with trampolines, etc. If you’d like, they’ll take you by boat out to snorkel, snorkel include. We saw sea turtles and stingrays! They also take you to a sunken ship to see plenty of fish. One alcoholic drink is included. Plus the food is amazing! And they take you back to the ship, no extra cost. All around a great spot for the price!

Most beautiful water and sand!! We went to the Boat Yard for the day. $5 per person by taxi then $25 per person to get in. The $25 fee also includes you ride back to port, snorkeling, beach chairs, bathrooms and your first bar drink. They also have other water activities.

Rainy day but warm. Booked through NCL Coppacabana beach. Umbrella and chairs free with one free beverage. Was solicited on beach by jewelry guy, bought cute anklet for 10$. Also solicited by someone offering a swim with turtles for 20$. Since it was raining we decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did! My husband loved it. Glass bottom boat takes you just offshore where they feed the turtles while you snorkel. Lots of stingrays and other fish also. Then snorkel over two ship wrecks. Very nice accommodating crew with Bliss water sports. If they approach you don’t hesitate to do it!
