KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA Port Reviews

We docked so far from the town and had such an early departure time, we had to go straight back to the ship after our excursion. The last time we cruised and stopped at Ketchikan, we docked by the town, were all the other cruise shops were docked. The excursion was very u organized. While we really enjoyed the raptor center and the walk through the forest, we waited almost an hour for everyone to get on the bus, because our tour guid told us someone would call us to the bus on10 minutes and the bus driver, who was in a different section , thought we were going to come straight to the bus. No communication with the tour group or between the driver and guide.

Ketchikan Duck Tour. Fun and informative

Loved it. Did crab feast excursion but not enough time in this port

Visit too short. By the time we got the bus and got to town we only had about an hour so we came right back. Luckily, we had been there before.

wish we had more time in the ports-----you didn't have time to do an excursion and visit town. It was one or the other

We enjoyed Creek Street and the boardwalk

Not enough shuttles.

Cool town but only got to see half of it because we had to be back by 11:30

We were VERY much looking forward to this stop but due to staying 12 hours in Icy Straits we were only able to spend 4 hours at this port and with the excursion that we pre-purchased we could not even go into town. THIS WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING.
